July 2020: Gilharmonic Continues, Tanglewood & Santa Fe Performances

The Gilharmonic on Violinist.com continues to be a highlight for Gil as this summer without usual concerts and festivals continues. Called “the happiest hour of violin talk online,” the weekly show hosted by Gil and editor Laurie Niles on Sundays at 2pm EDT has featured guests including young Suzuki violinists, students at top conservatories, esteemed pedagogues such as Kurt Sassmannshaus, and premiere artists like Tessa Lark, Elena Urioste, and Roby Lakatos. July brings several other virtual performance opportunities for Gil, including an exclusive full video-streamed recital from Tanglewood’s Seiji Ozawa Hall on July 3 (tickets here, with viewing available through July 10) and participation in Performance Santa Fe’s virtual gala on July 18 together with over a dozen other first-rate artists (free registration here).

Visit Gil’s schedule for more schedule, including cancelled concerts, new virtual dates, and dates continuing live as planned (though of course with other limitations).
