A summer of Bach, Mendelssohn, Tchaikovsky and Bruch

This summer Gil tours the United States, performing some of the most beautiful and iconic violin concertos. In July, as he does every summer, Gil returns to the Aspen Music Festival to play Bach’s Violin Concerto in A minor with the Aspen Chamber Symphony and Jeffrey Kahane. Next, he reunites with Gustavo Dudamel and the Los Angeles Philharmonic for a performance of Mendelssohn’s Violin Concerto at the Hollywood Bowl. August brings a visit to Idaho’s Sun Valley Summer Symphony for Tchaikovsky before heading to the Blossom Music Festival for a performance of Bruch with Edo de Waart and The Cleveland Orchestra.
