Following a string of successful recitals with pianist Akira Eguchi in Chicago and numerous cities throughout the southeastern US, Gil Shaham toured California with the San Francisco Symphony and Music Director Michael Tilson Thomas performing Berg’s Violin Concerto. Following a performance of Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto with the Pensacola Symphony in early April, Gil performs Beethoven’s Violin Concerto with the London Philharmonic in late April and then Mozart’s Violin Concertos No. 1 and No. 1 with Germany’s SWR Symphonieorchester with conductor Nicholas McGegan in May. To round out the spring, Gil performs Brahms’s beloved Violin Concerto June 7-10 with the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra.
