As an exciting follow-up to Gil’s performance with conductor Sergey Smbatyan in Dubai, he will perform the same program of the Brahms Violin Concerto and Shor’s “Seascapes” with Maestro Smbatyan and the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra in Yerevan on October 23. This marks Gil’s first time in Armenia…two new countries in just 6 weeks!

Gil will make his first ever visit to the United Arab Emirates in early September as part of the InClassica International Music Festival. Performing at the Dubai Opera on September 6, Gil will perform the Brahms Violin Concerto and Shor’s “Seascapes” with the Slovak Philharmonic Orchestra and conductor Sergey Smbatyan.
Gil was overjoyed to return to Aspen, where—until last year’s pandemic hiatus—he has been featured annually. He performed the Barber Violin Concerto on August 1 with the Aspen Festival Orchestra, and according to a review in the Aspen Times, “inspired music director Robert Spano’s best conducting this summer.” Read more here.
