Gil was overjoyed to return to Aspen, where—until last year’s pandemic hiatus—he has been featured annually. He performed the Barber Violin Concerto on August 1 with the Aspen Festival Orchestra, and according to a review in the Aspen Times, “inspired music director Robert Spano’s best conducting this summer.” Read more here.

Gil is delighted to be featured with the first orchestra he ever saw, the Israel Philharmonic, for its 85th Anniversary Gala Concert on February 6. Gil will perform the Brahms Concerto with the orchestra, which he will perform again the following weekend with the Antwerp Symphony.
